Ciate London Nail Polish Advent Calendar - £50 – Available from ASOS, Feel Unique and Very in October
I think Ciate was one of the first brands to start beauty advent calendars a few years ago. Their nail polish advent calendar is back, you also receive a nail treatment, file and nail toppers. It’s not the most adventurous beauty calendar but it is still good value for money.
NYX is famous for its extensive line of lipsticks, the Lingerie collection being very popular with bloggers. If you haven’t tried any lip products from the brand, this advent calendar is your chance. It has different formulas including matte and cream lipstick, chubby lip cream, liquid lipstick, matte lip cream and creamy lip gloss. I would give this a miss if you already have most of the NYX lip range.
Following last year’s theme of marble, the calendar features popular brands such as The Ordinary, Caudalie, Rodial, Pureology and St Tropez. There is also going to be a men's version at the same price.

I personally don't love subscription boxes, I always feel a little let down by what's inside. However, if you are a fan of Birchbox you'll be happy to know this contains brands such as Benefit, Cargo, Dr Paw Paw and NUXE.
Liz Earle is a crowd pleaser, their skincare is suitable for all skin types and the products are excellent quality. Of course, the cult Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is included in a 50ml size. Other products include Soothing Eye Lotion, Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask, and Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion. There are some filler products like 2 face cloths, a sponge, and a white headband.

Inside you will find: Original and Tinted Mineral Veil Finishing Powder, Skin Longevity, Deluxe Marvellous Moxie lip-glosses and lipsticks, blush, mascara and a pen and notepad.
I believe this beauty advent calendar sold out last year, so they have a waitlist you can join for the 2017 launch. The contents aren't revealed online which could either be a nice surprise or a risk depending on how you look at it. However, we do know that it contains 19 exclusive products, 13 skincare products, 3 beauty tools and 7 cosmetics samples. They say it is worth over £300.
Most brands have stuck to the traditional box format that the chocolate advent calendars have, just on a larger scale. These offerings from Rituals are 3D, how fun! There are two options, one priced at £59.50 and the other at £79.50. Both include favourites like the Ritual favourites including Sakura Body Cream, Hammam Black Soap, and Ritual of Hammam Hot Scrub.
Rivalling the Ciate nail polish calendar, this Essie offering has 7 nail polishes, 13 mini nail polishes, a nail polish remover and 3 mini surprises.

You’ll find their Optimal Skin ProMoisturiser, Soothing Bath Oil and Skin Rescue Balm inside to name a few of the lovely products.
This is the second-time Makeup Revolution has appeared in this guide (see the £50 one above). This has full sized products instead of cheaper minis. You do get a lot for your money but not sure the MR customer would spend £120 in one go. Apparently, only 500 White Company Advent Calendar's have been made, so I think they will sell out quickly. The contains is worth over £290 and includes candles, skincare, perfumes, hand and body creams.
This beautiful advent calendar has two of my favourite products inside, the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm and Marine Cream in full sizes. The calendar contains is worth £319.
I’m not a fan of the skincare from CT, however, I adore the makeup. The box has 6 skincare products and 6 makeup products because of this I will have to give this a miss. Charlotte Tilbury lovers, however, will rejoice.

Competing with the likes of Liberty, Harrods has added its best sellers to its beauty advent calendar. You will find inside a NARS Laguna Bronzer, Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara, Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in Enchanting, and an Acqua di Parma red candle.
This has a mixture of bath products including body washes, body lotions, candles, body polishes and Eau de toilettes. I’m not sure the £256 price tag is justifiable for me on this one.
