13 Reasons Why I Love Christmas

1. It’s acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast.
2. Christmas PJ’s – the louder and cheesier the pattern the better. Primark do the best ones.
3. I can belt out Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas’ – favourite Christmas song by the way.
4. Spending more time with the family, Christmas is the best excuse to get together.
5. Demolishing Christmas buffets – pigs in blankets and cheese and crackers are my favourites.
6. Christmas lights on the houses – we used to take a tour of the village in the car with my parents looking at all of the decorations.
7. Childhood handmade ornaments that your mum refuses to throw out – you wouldn’t believe I went on to study art by looking at my DIY Santa and angel for the top of the tree.
8. When you find a gift for someone and you know they will LOVE it!
9. Christmas drinks at coffee shops accompanied by slabs of cake.
10. Themed displays in shop windows – Selfridges always have the best!
11. Ugly Christmas jumpers.
12. Festive red makeup – nails and lips.
13. Buying presents from yourself – from me, to me!
