How Much Does My Face Cost?

I've seen the 'How much does my face cost' tag on various blogs and I was curious to see if I lost everything I used on a daily basis, how much would I have to spend to replace it all?

MAC Studio Fix Foundation - £20.50
MAC Studio Fix Powder - £20.50
Benefit Erase Paste Concealer - £19.50
Urban Decay Naked Palette - £36
L'Oreal Carbon Gloss Liner - £6.49
Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil - £2.99
Nars Orgasm Blush - £21
MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup - £14

=£140.98

I have a mix of high end and drugstore make-up which makes my grand total £140.98! I'm shocked I've spent that on just my daily face make-up. The total doesn't included skincare or my large collection of make-up I'm hoarding.

What I'm Loving #1: Colourful Corals

I know in Britain we aren't experiencing much of a summer but coral just personifies summer for me. Before I travelled to Rome this weekend just gone, I decided I wanted a popping orange coral nail colour which would look cute with sandals,I spotted this shade named 'Spicy Orange' from L'Oreal. As far as quality is concerned I love this nail polish. It's long wearing with minimal chipping and only takes one coat to show the vibrant colour. The L'Oreal products in Boots were on buy one, get one half price, I couldn't resist picking up another Caresse lipstick, the shade is 'Dating Coral'.

Left to right: L'Oreal Caresse in Dating Coral, Barry M in 147, MAC Ever Hip (LE), MAC Costa Chic and Revlon lipgloss in Coral Reef.

Okay, I love coral! As you can see by this picture I have a thing for coral lip colours.
I'm currently on a spending ban after the L'Oreal purchases so unfortunately I can't get my hands on MAC's Cut a Caper. I've heard it's similar to Ever Hip and as you can see do I need another coral lipstick?!

What colours are you loving right now?
A fan of coral like me, what's your favourite shade?

My Make-up for a Night Out (Piling on the Slap!)

I thought I'd give you guys a peak at what make-up I wear on nights out. I have quite oily skin so I choose long lasting products.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I've rambled on about this in many blog posts before, so I won't bore you again but here is the review post I wrote if you are interested.

Benefit Erase Paste Concealer
I have a love hate relationship with this concealer, some days it's perfect and the next it's cakey and settles in my fine lines. I'm determined to use it up so I set it with powder just to give it more longevity.

MAC Studio Fix Powder
I've been through 5 or 6 of these compacts. I dusk this over my foundations for a little extra coverage and to set the liquid foundation in place.

Urban Decay Naked Palette
This is a make-up lovers dream, it has beautiful neutral shades that make it perfect for both day and night looks. If I wear a bright lipstick, I'll stick with the more softer shades, but I use the smokey eyeshadows when I plan to wear a nudey pink on my lips.

Nars Orgasm Blusher
Another cult beauty item, I've had this blush for years and I have only just hit pan, (probably should throw it out). It's a buildable colour that leaves you glowing.

Revlon Cherries in the Snow Lipstick
My blog is named after this beauty, it's my perfect raspberry red!

Bourjois Bronzing Powder
I apply this over my face powder to give my face a little more colour to match my fake tan and to contour and slim out my face.

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil
This pencil has a slight waxy texture which means it stays in places all day and night. I love a good defined brow!

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
I've mentioned that this is one of my favourite mascaras a few times on my blog. It doesn't smudge and it gives me both length and volume on my lashes.

L'Oreal Carbon Gloss Liner
This liner is the blackest of the black, the thin brush tip creates perfect eyeliner.

Dress: Urban Outfitters
Heels: Jeffrey Campbell

What make-up to you apply before a night out?
Any recommendations?

Rome Sephora Wishlist

So this Friday I'll be jetting off to Rome for a long weekend and I'm unbelievably excited! As you know we don't have a Sephora in the UK and when ever I get the chance to go when aboard I treat myself!

1. Sephora Collection Face Complexion Brush
I've been after a good face brush for a while after deciding a Clarisonic was a little to pricey for me but I wanted a similar effect. Fingers crossed this helps smooth out my complexion!

2. Anastasia Brow Whiz
The Pixiwoo sisters always mention this product in their tutorials on Youtube, they always have perfect brows. This purchase will be one step closer to the perfect brows.

3. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blusher in Tipsy
Vivianna from Vivianna Does Makeup has mentioned these in monthly favourites a few times and they've really sparked my interest. They have a great staying power and colour range by the reviews I have read.

4. Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash Mascara
I bought this mascara when I visited America and oh my I fell in love instantly. It gave me thick fluttery lashes that I can't get from any other mascara. I've going to stock up and get a few of these as they are hard to come by in the UK.

Off on a holiday soon? What would you stock up on?
